We (ArcStone) started The Nerdy Nonprofit after noticing a gap in digital strategy and resources available to the nonprofit community. There is a lot of content out there focused on one-off tactics and tricks to help with aspects such as growing your Facebook following or writing a better newsletter. However, as a client of ours pointed out, it is unclear what social networks they should even be on and the true value of a newsletter.
With this in mind, we’ve set out to create a better resource center: driven first by strategy and asking the right questions, and then following up with real tactics and methods to measure your results. Because we are part of a digital agency that works with many nonprofits, much of the content will be based on our own learnings, challenges and successes in the nonprofit sector.
